This Privacy Policy explains what information Ally collects when you request a scan, an audit, or an Expert audit, and how it is used.

What we collect

• The website URL you submit for scanning.
• Your email address, used to deliver results, status updates, and (for free scans) a short follow-up email sequence.
• Scan results (accessibility violations found on the pages we crawl).
• For Expert audit requests: your name, company, and any notes you provide.
• Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

What we don't collect

We never store passwords. Authentication, where used, is handled via passwordless magic links. We do not scan pages behind a login and do not collect data from your site's visitors.

How we use your data

• To run the requested scan and generate your report.
• To email you when your audit starts and when your report is ready.
• If you use the free scan, to send a short follow-up email sequence about accessibility and our paid tiers. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all further follow-ups immediately.
• To provide your dashboard with 30-day access to your own reports only.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies or track individuals across sites. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected for analytics purposes.

Data retention

Report data and PDF downloads remain available in your dashboard for 30 days after completion, after which download links expire. You may request deletion of your audit history at any time.
